Johannes Riedl is a German composer for film and production music as well as a mixing engineer.
Over the past 10 years, he has worked on over 25 projects for visual media. These include award-winning short films such as Sideline Story (Drama) and WingMan (Thriller), as well as other productions like Seven To Light (Drama), Waga (Drama), and The Only Way (Thriller).
Previously, his music was featured in Ogun Ola: War is Coming (Action), produced by Revelations Entertainment under the creative direction of Morgan Freeman, as well as Into the Woods (Fantasy) for the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) in New York.
Additionally, he composed the trailer music for the US web series Searchers, which was awarded a Telly. Other projects include The Click, Wrong Answers Only, The Visit, as well as the corporate film Heroes and an advertisement for Lenovo.

Production Music
In addition to his work as a film composer, Johannes Riedl is active in production music.
For the German premium music library RipCue Music, he composed and produced albums including Big Attitude Rock, Most Wanted, Current Middle East Affairs, and Rage Mode.
While Current Middle East Affairs takes a traditional direction through the use of real strings and woodwinds, Rage Mode represents the exact opposite: an uncompromising metal album, specifically designed for action-packed moments in film and television.

Studios
With JRM-Studios, Johannes Riedl founded a studio in 2022 that specializes in film music for independent film productions.
The idea: to combine authentic, realistic-sounding film music with fair budgets.
Instead of relying on purely digital productions, JRM Studios combines modern production approaches with the performance of real musicians. Strings, woodwinds, brass, or other instrumentalists give the scores a vibrant depth that is often missing in the independent film sector.
As the founder of BrightVox Studios, Johannes also established a post-production studio in mid-2024 that specializes in the editing, restoration, and enhancement of voice recordings.
